It's that time again, the ol' off-week and that means a call-in episode. Thanks to everyone who hit Nick up with some stories and questions. They're all over the place this time, but they're great. So check out the Hotline this week and we'll see you next time with another guest.
Nick recently attended the 20th Anniversary party for Tattoo Paradise in nearby Washington D.C. and had the pleasure of sitting down with yet another legend from the tattoo industry; none other than Frank Ball himself who traveled from All Saint's Tattoo in Austin, TX. It's a great conversation spanning from a time long gone and a million names you'll recognize all the way up to today and new projects like the We Are Those People nonprofit set up by Frank and his family. You don't want to miss this one. It's fast and gets right into the history and doesn't stop for a second. Keep these artists alive by listening.
It's another exciting release on the off-week for No Lies Just Bullshit. Nick answers the questions, so of course you're here to hear what he has to say, but let's thank the folks who actually took the time to call in too! It could be you next time. What are you waiting for?
From the beginning of NLJBS, Nick has known that he wanted to get Shahn Anderson on the show to talk about his tattooing story and this year at the Richmond Convention it finally happened. Coming from Great White North of Hopkins, Minnesota Mr. Shahn Anderson owns Dragonland Tattoo out there which will celebrate its thirtieth year in business next year. Hear all about how he got there and much more as Nick and Shahn discuss some great stories from the past as well as celebrate this great industry we all have right now. Don't miss this one. It's freakin' great.
The man needs no introduction. It's the one and only Good Time Charlie. Nick sat down with Charlie at the Richmond Tattoo Convention and what results is an informative couple of hours that you will not want to miss.

It's time to hear some phone calls from artists, listeners and friends - usually all three! It's another great edition of the NLJBS Hotline where you call Nick and leave him a message relaying a story or some wizened bit of important knowledge. Tell a joke or ask a question. This has become a fun way to interact with some additional content now that the Bullshit comes in every other week. Keep 'em comin' and we'll keep on hittin' y'all with the HOTLINE.

Whilst attending the Pagoda City Tattoo Festival up in PA, Nick got a chance to have a long conversation with an excellent English gentleman tattooer, the one and only Henbo. What's with the name? Where in England, Tattoos? You'll hear all of these things discussed and more. Along for the ride is friend of the show Mike Boyd with a slightly different accent. They're both currently at Good Luck NYC and the stoires and names you'll hear on this one are epic indeed. Special surprise appearance by Mr. Pagoda himself, Justin Weatherholz, toward the end. Get ready for some great back and forth with Uncle Dave and Nick and for the first question we also have world renowned artist, frequent guest of the show and Alley Cat Tattoo crew member: Mr. Andrew Conner stops by the studio to reply to a personal question from a listener. It's a great episode, so tell your tribe.
Long time friend of the show and amazing tattoo artist Jesse Strother sat down with Nick at Pagoda City Tattoo convention up in PA and they had a hell of a time sharing stories that take us all over the place. The entire Alley Cat crew was in attendance at Pagoda and it's such a great time and Nick is able to get amazing podcasts like this one. Enjoy.

By now we've heard from several of the Civilization crew out of Richmond and the infamous unreleased episode that was. Or was not. Well, now it's time for Mr. John Setzer to step up and recall those events and much more with Nick. As one of the more cognizant members of the aforementioned event, he and Nick have a good laugh and even play some bits of the episode. Add to that some amazing history of coming up in shops and family acceptance to doing the convention circuit and all that comes with those things. Don't miss this one.
While in California for the Sacramento Capital City Tattoo Convention, Nick got a chance to sit down for a few hours with the legend Corey Miller and it's exactly what you'd expect from two people who love tattooing as much as these guys. The second of the podcasts Nick recorded while out in Sacramento, CA is another great one. Beau Brady has worked all over the place as you'll find out when you listen to this week's epiisode. Every time Beau starts getting restless wherever he's at, he travels somewhere. So he's done a lot of it. And when you hear the places he goes, it's no wonder he has become one of the greats. Don't miss this talk as you hear about how the paths followed by Beau and by Nick have crossed throughout the years.
Just before the convention in Sacramento, Nick and Josh pick up Andrew and Richie and head immediately over to San Francisco to Tattoo City, the legendary shop owned by Ed Hardy. There, Nick had the honor to sit down with Doug Hardy and record and it's everything you want it to be. This is a great one talking about some excellent tattoo history. Do not miss it.
